Serials look better on a big screen. Pick the one that matches what you have at home.
Android phone to TV
For most phones (Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, Redmi, Realme, OnePlus) and smart TVs or a TV with a Chromecast or Fire TV Stick.
Put the TV and the phone on the same Wi-Fi, and switch the TV on.
Swipe down from the top of the phone screen, twice, to open the quick buttons.
Tap Smart View (Samsung) or Screen Cast / Cast (other phones). Can’t see it? Swipe left on the quick buttons.
Tap your TV’s name in the list. Your phone screen now shows on the TV.
Open ThisaiTV, play the episode and turn the phone sideways for a full picture.
To stop, swipe down again and tap the same button.
iPhone to TV
For an Apple TV box, or a newer Samsung, LG or Sony TV that shows “AirPlay” in its settings.
Put the TV and the iPhone on the same Wi-Fi.
Swipe down from the top right corner to open Control Centre.
Tap Screen Mirroring (two boxes).
Tap your TV’s name. If the TV shows a code, type it on the iPhone.
Open ThisaiTV, play the episode and turn the iPhone sideways.
Smart TV on its own
No phone needed, if your TV has an internet browser.
Press Home on the TV remote and open the Internet or Browser app.
Type thisaitv.com/tv and press OK. This opens TV mode: big pictures you move through with the arrows on the remote.
Save it as a favourite or bookmark, so next time it is one click.
Some TV browsers cannot play every video. If an episode does not start, try Player 2, or use your phone (the first two ways).
Laptop with a cable
Works with any TV that has an HDMI socket, even an older one.
Connect the laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable.
Press Input or Source on the TV remote and choose HDMI.
Open ThisaiTV on the laptop, play the episode and press the full screen button on the player.
TV not in the list?
- Check the TV and phone use the same Wi-Fi name.
- Switch the TV off and on, then try again.
- Older TVs without casting need a cable or a small stick like Chromecast or Fire TV Stick.
